PeopleSoft HRMS 8.3 Course Description

 

Our current courses are designed to acquaint new users with the PeopleSoft HRMS 8.3 system. The class list below provides course descriptions, course length, prerequisites, and links to the table of contents.  Please logon to the TRC for specific class dates, times, and locations.

Custom SDR 9/1 Funding (3 hours)

Intended for authorized submitters who prepare, submit, or approve departmantal personnel action forms. Explains the 9/1 Funding Process and demonstates how to perform Position Funding Entry in Peoplesoft HRMS.

 

HRMS Introduction (4 hours)   
 
This class is intended for new users to the PeopleSoft HRMS system and for those who need to access and understand how positions are funded. It reviews basic navigation, field descriptions, covers encumbrance data and reports, along with position data, job data, and additional pay data as they relate to funding, and running standard reports. (This course is a combination of what was formerly HRMS Overview and Commitment Accounting.)

 

8.3 Query Manager (7 hours)   

This course is intended for users who need to write ad hoc HRMS reports.  It reviews the Query Manager, running public queries, and building new, private queries, using selection criteria, and joining tables.
