PeopleSoft 8.3 HRMS Documentation
Printing Instructions
End User training guides for PeopleSoft 8.3 HRMS can be downloaded and printed locally.
Most of the online student manuals are created so that each chapter is a separate file. For the fastest print results :

Create an individual folder on your desktop for each course you plan to download.

Right-click on the hyperlinks for each chapter of your selected course and:
a. Choose "Save target as..." for Internet Explorer OR "Save link as..." for Netscape.
b. Save each file into the desktop folder you have created for that course.

After you have downloaded all the course files, open the desktop folder for that course.

Highlight all of the files in the folder. (The Adobe PDF format documents are named so that they will appear in the proper printing order if sorted by name in your folder.)

From the menu, select File / Print.

8.3 Custom SDR 9/1 Funding
Intended for authorized submitters who prepare/submit or approve departmental personnel action forms (PAs). Explains the 9/1 funding process and demonstrates how to perform Position Funding Entry in Peoplesoft HRMS.

PeopleSoft 8.3 HRMS Introduction
This class is intended for new users to the PeopleSoft HRMS system and for those who need to access and understand how positions are funded. It reviews basic navigation, field descriptions, covers encumbrance data and reports, along with position data, job data, and additional pay data as they relate to funding, and running standard reports. (This course is a combination of what was formerly HRMS Overview and Commitment Accounting.)

PeopleSoft 8.3 HRMS Query Manager
Intended for users who need to write adhoc HRMS reports or run public queries. This 7-hour course is required for access to the PeopleSoft Query Manager.

PeopleSoft 8.3 Electronic Effort Reporting for Project Administrators
Intended for Project Administrators whose role is to approve and submit changes to effort for Effort Reporting.
