UT HOUSE MEDICS FALL 2008 PROGRAM

Saturday, October 19th and Saturday, October 26st

WOW!!! Seventeen years and we're still hammering strong!

Since April was declared Volunteer Month a few years ago, there are so many worthy volunteer opportunities during that month at UT. Rather than compete with these wonderful projects, we have decided to move the UT House Medics’ spring campaign to the fall beginning this year.

Should you still want to work on senior citizen homes in April, we can arrange for you to work with a team already signed up with Rebuilding Together Houston. RTH has crews out in the community in both the spring and fall.

Please join us in October for the fall UT House Medics project. We will begin recruiting in a few months. Until then, save the dates below for the fall project:

Crew Leader Meeting (RTH Warehouse) - Saturday Oct. 4
Work Day - Saturday, Oct. 18
Work Day - Saturday, Oct. 25
Rain Date - Saturday, Nov. 1

Volunteering:

Being a part of a UT House Medics Team gives you the opportunity to work with fellow employees throughout the Health Science Center in a very casual, but constructive weekend of fun. Join us in the best campus wide community service project! Service provided to the homeowners FREE of charge and with a lovingly heart.

Join the 16th annual UT House Medics Volunteer Project and be a part of the best university wide community service project. Elderly homeowners in our community need help keeping their home painted and in good repair. Step up to the plate with UTHM and lend a helping hand for these deserving homeowners.

This award is given to team leaders for exceptional leadership on homes needing extensive repairs. UT House Medics is a three time recipient - Presented by Rebuilding Together Houston
