Mission Statement

We are dedicated to supporting The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in attaining its goals for the 21st century by providing a reliable, secure and efficient computing environment. We aspire to be a model service department within Information Services by providing services designed to meet the needs of our customers.

Data Processing consists of Production Support Services (PSS), Software Systems Programming (SSP) and Disaster Recovery (DR).

PSS

PSS provides 24 X 7 coverage in a multi-platform environment including major applications that support various University business functions and school activities.

SSP

SSP provides a high level of stability and performance in our system software and ensures an appropriate level of access to our information resources, which will allow our customers to use our services with utmost confidence.

DR

DR creates and tests the disaster recovery plans for various entities. We ensure the continuity of critical business functions even in the event of a disaster.
